The historic area of town is pretty and well served with outdoor and indoor eating areas. There no loud night time music at Bank Holiday weekend.
The are some modern shopping centres. There are plenty of well maintained green areas. There doesn't appear to be any local buses around the town. There is a train station. I walked 4 Km on Saturday morning doing some emergency shopping after Ryanair lost my luggage. I would have gladly taken a local bus if there had been any. It could be a nice base to explore the area if you are driving.

Great experience, went to see grandson in show, but decided to stay overnight. Great place to walk round, nice architecture and variety of shops - scotney castle 10 minutes away
One on the best places to eat from all places I’ve visited - the grill restaurant at the barn. Excellent food and great value, if I lived locally it would be weekly visit without a doubt.

Pleasant town for sight seeing.
Pleasant town for sight seeing. Good transport facilities by local transport. There are a reasonable number of eating places and the usual Coffee chains offering refrehments. The Pantiles is the usual visiting spot for small shops and antiques. There is a central Railway with connections all over the country. Has bus and taxi services too. There is a local library in the town centre with an interesting museum. There is an extensive shopping mall as well. There are some parks and some hills that could be explored, all near the centre of town

It is a very interesting town. There are many fascinating buildings dating from the Georgian period, including the Pantiles.
The shopping area, although small, has several quality outlets.
The general vibe of the town centre is very good especially at night.
Of course, Tunbridge Wells is set amongst beautiful Kent countryside.
A great place to visit.

Despite the early morning cleaners - the noise was intolerable and we could have done with a lie in, considering we didn’t have to check out until 11 - we left by 9! We only had one night booked but expected more . For the price, breakfast should have been included .

The hotel was a perfect base for our 3-day visit to historic sites near Royal Tunbridge Wells. Chartwell, Scotney Castle, Ingtham Mote, Bayham Abbey, Chiddingstone, and Hever Castle are all less than 30 minutes away by car. The breakfast was outstanding, and we also enjoyed a meal at the cozy restaurant and pub that is clearly well patronized by local residents, always a good sign. There was ample parking. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by country music and friendly staff in cowboy hats which isn’t the typical hotel experience in Tonbridge Wells but adds to its charm. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel room, lovely comfortable bed, big shower. Did the job for a place to stay for a wedding. The breakfast included was great. Close to most places, only 10-15 mins from station. Recommend!
Nothing to like about this Hotel it was an absolute dump, paid £506 to stay 3 nights dirty, grubby, run down with noisy dogs barking at all hours it’s a dog hotel also which we didn’t know when booking. Breakfast was poor and cold definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone it’s a disgrace that they charge so much for this run down hotel
The triple room was large with plenty of storage, it was clean and the shower was good. The staff on reception were very friendly. The hotel was near to the town centre and walking distance to the Pantiles. The hotel was quiet overnight. We liked the complimentary toiletries & hot drinks.
the hotel was easy to find and had a nice large parking lot. they have a bar and restaurant on site which was quite nice. the room was cozy and bed co for table. we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. the staff was outstanding. I was surprised by the large selection on the menu at dinner.
Excellent location, steps from the Pantiles and High Street. Lovely couple own the cottage and offer a quiet, quaint place to rest your head after a day of being out and about. While the place is small, it offers everything you need including a small laundry.
Truely wonderful in every way. Quiet location, walking distance to a lovely small town nearby. Free parking at the hotel. Small but beautiful room and by far the best breakfast we had during our stay in the UK. I would absolutely recommend this place.
The Spa Hotel is a lovely place to stay. I loved sitting and walking through the gardens. I enjoyed breakfast, the selection was really good. I indulged myself in the afternoon high tea which was a delightful experience.
Very good facilities ,location and ease of access to the centre of Tunbridge Wells , great menu, bar facilities .Friendly staff happy to help with all needs .

The room was very large and relatively quiet. Great view into the park. The bathroom was HUGE and the rain shower had amazing pressure. The hotel bar made great drinks!
Beautiful hotel. Really convenient for the town. Had parking which is so convenient when staying in a town. Staff smiley & helpful. An excellent place to stay
