Originally built in 1840, Spilman Hotel is a family-run hotel that offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking, right in the heart of the market town of Carmarthen. This is a very comfortable hotel near the town centre. The owner and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. For all you coeliacs the breakfast is large and gluten free even the sausages. The owner even bought a new toaster so my wife could have toast. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only downside is the entrance which is narrow but with a wide turn isn't a major problem.

Sue and Lois on reception and Dan who was multitasking. Customer service and friendliness was outstanding. So many places are lacking in this area however The Dunes have cracked it. Real team work was shown.

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of river, Y Seler is set in Aberaeron, 28 km from Aberystwyth Golf Club. The bedrooms, bar areas and dining rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard. The beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The dining experiences, both evening meals and breakfast were again excellent. The cherry on the cake were the staff who were super efficient, hard working and friendly and made our stay. We’ll done.
